Artificial intelligence is rapidly transforming the business landscape. The RSM Middle Market AI Survey 2025: U.S. and Canada provides a comprehensive overview of how AI is being adopted and integrated into business practices across the middle market.

In the survey, which was conducted by RSM and Big Village from Feb. 21 through March 4 and garnered 966 responses, 134 respondents were from the manufacturing industry. (Survey respondents were required to have decision-making authority, be part of a decision-making group, or have significant influence on technology investments at their organization.)

Here’s a look at the numbers specific to manufacturing respondents, shedding light on how organizations in this industry are embracing AI. For the information below, please note the following:

  • Unless otherwise noted, data applies to respondents who report their organization currently uses generative AI.
