Barbara Hall Joins Vasquez + Company as Audit and Consulting Partner

GLENDALE, California – January 2025 — Vasquez + Company LLP is pleased to announce that Barbara Hall has joined our firm as an Audit and Consulting Partner. Barbara will be based in the firm’s Irvine office in Orange County.  

Barbara has had a distinguished career that includes over 20 years of extensive audit and consulting experience. She previously served as an Audit Partner at Wipfli LLP (a top 25 CPA firm) and as the National Audit Director at Mueller Prost prior to the merger with Wipfli in 2021, where she led the Irvine audit team and the healthcare audit practice. Barbara’s experience includes the implementation of artificial intelligence platforms and data analysis, specialized healthcare audit practices, and in-depth knowledge of California financial reporting requirements for skilled nursing facilities. Her leadership record shows a commitment to both innovation and technical excellence. 

Barbara also has extensive experience across industries like technology, telecommunications, manufacturing, distribution, construction, service organizations, and nonprofit sectors. Additionally, Barbara is a subject matter expert on employee benefit plans. Her career includes leadership roles at other top 100 accounting firms, including Brown Smith Wallace LLP (now part of Armanino) and RSM US LLP.   

Barbara holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Missouri – St. Louis and is a licensed CPA in California and Missouri. Additionally, she is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the California Society of CPAs (CalCPA), and the Missouri Society of CPAs (MOCPA).
