At the end of the day, the best protection is a combination of informed people and a secure technological environment. It’s important to invest in both. Whether you’re a small startup or a large corporation, taking the time to properly educate your team members, update your systems, and reinforce your internal procedures could mean the difference between averting fraud and suffering costly losses. By staying vigilant and proactive, you can shield your organization from the growing threat of BEC and protect what matters most—its assets and its reputation.
